I walk in wonder and in witness of what once was and will never be…
Woe to me and woe this wasting wonderland we love to hate.

Where with all the wisdom and hope will I withstand thee?
When a way and a why are but wishes and wilting flowers…

Weep with me at a world awry with waste and wickedness.
Weep with me as wrinkled men watch a winters wars’ descent-


I wallow in the willowing brook of the wandering waterway,
Words my friend; fallen as a whisper whipped aside by the wind.
